วันนี้ได้มีโอกาศมาเยี่ยมดูงานที่ ทัณฑสถานหญิงธนบุรีและเรือนจำพิเศษธนบุรี ซึ่งเป็น หนึ่งในกิจกรรม Field Trip ของหลักสูตรอบรม RoLD - The Rule of Law and Development, TIJ Executive Program ที่กำลังเรียนในช่วงนี้ ได้เห็นชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของทั้งผู้ต้องขังและเจ้าหน้าที่ ถือว่าเป็น ประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ที่ดีมากๆเลยค่ะ ที่ทำให้เข้าใจเรื่องกระบวนการยุติธรรมมากขึ้น และเป็นข้อมูลในการทำงานด้านสังคมของซินดี้อีกต่อไป... Today I had the rare opportunity to visit 2 prisons, Thonburi Women’s Correctional Institute and Thonburi Remand Prison for men to study the current situation and what life is like for people serving time behind bars. It truly opened my eyes to what both the inmates and correctional officers have to deal with on a daily basis. This is part of the Executive Program on Rule of Law and Development in which I am currently enrolled, a partnership program between Thailand Institute of Justice and Harvard Law School.
