I'm a sucker for a bit of Portuguese chicken and chips, I've secretly scoffed down plates of Peri Peri 's infamous dish behind closed doors, splashing additional Peri Peri hot sauce into every chicken crevice and fat fry, so you can imagine our surprise when we came across something which closely resembled this guilty plate at a Thai street food hub.

The vendor is called Pinn, located at THAI TASTE HUB @kingpowermahanakhon CUBE in Silom. The famous grilled chicken menu offers various fusion dishes made from premium chicken, raised in a solar powered-eco farm. Heavily seasoned and unashamedly succulent, this is just like Peri Peri (not) on steroids.

Other highlight dishes include Moroccan Chicken, Sichuan Spicy Chicken and Roasted Kurobuta Pork Belly with Ang Kak.

"Luk Chub". If you were like me, who was always fascinated with these once-ubiquitous Thai treats, then you were always thrilled to come across an open box at the street vendors. Sometimes displayed in miniature wooden carts.

They were filled with sweet mungbean paste, shaped and dipped in glorious food colours to resemble miniature mangos, chilis, mangosteen, eggplants, and so on, half the time as a kid were spend playing and imagining their use other than actually enjoying them. Well, they did all taste the same in the end.

Still, given the labour intensity of the detailed delicacy along with the increasing, decrease of street food vendors in Bangkok, that thrill has returned once again! Find these tiny bad boys at THAI TASTE @kingpowermahanakhon CUBE.

不會太甜蠻清爽
邊邊煎的脆脆的口感很棒

不但能買的過癮還能大吃一頓
而且購物中心裡頭比較沒有衛生安全疑慮
就沒有要不要挑戰吃路邊攤小吃店的猶豫了XDD
