《格雷的五十道陰影》男女主角今天都有上新片！格雷女 Dakota Johnson 的新片是《天后小助理》，身為達粉我看了真是心花怒放呀！話說達妞那張臉一直都很成熟，從以前演《格雷》系列甚至演《社群網戰》時就是那樣子，實在不像二十出頭小屁孩、而至少像是三十歲有成熟風韻。如今《天后小助理》終於讓她演到 1989 年出生的三十歲角色了，不只那若有所思的臉龐、不只那溫暖體貼的微笑，她整個一舉手一投足都有一種年輕人少見的成熟圓融，當然底下也不免有年輕躁進，這種圓融身段與進取內心的搭配，正是藝術大師身旁的「小助理」所必須。

看這週上映《天后小助理》，真令我聯想到上週上映的《戀戀琴聲》，雖然兩片片型與調性差很多，但我覺得那雙主角的格局是很神似的：兩片都有一個成名多年享譽全球的音樂大師、大師都面臨著職涯衰老的焦慮、大師身遭都有音樂產業雖為他好但不免世故流俗、大師身旁提醒他初衷的都是一位超脫世故直視本心的晚輩小人物。這晚輩小人物，在《戀戀琴聲》是 Katie Holmes 飾演的四十歲左右小樂評、成熟典雅令七十歲鋼琴大師如沐春風；在《天后小助理》則是 Dakota Johnson 飾演的三十歲小助理，令五十歲左右的資深天后眼睛一亮、彷彿重拾年輕的心再度活起來！
不論樂評或助理，這種「小助理」等級的隨侍晚輩，首先要熟稔大師的生活習慣與藝術口味、進而接近大師不說出口的愛恨情仇與心之所向，也就是要貼近大師的心看他一個眼神臉色就秒懂；其次要謹守節度進退得宜，必須要了解大師到像是他肚裡蛔蟲、同時要謙卑地裝作其實不了解他而戰戰兢兢，總是看似怯生生地適時遞給大師他剛好需要的東西、明明是多年經驗累積下的周全準備、卻要假裝只是一時巧合的心有靈犀；最後，大師身旁的一般庸人可以對大師唯唯諾諾有求必應、或是以產業專業要大師認清現實，唯小助理必須保持基進本心大膽挑戰大師、刺激他更上層樓！
本片達妞飾演的「小助理」Maggie，是歌手媽媽生出、音樂爸爸養大，家學淵源自小就熱愛音樂熟稔音樂也主修音樂，她對美國當代流行金曲與樂壇眾生如數家珍之餘，自小最愛聽的就是爸爸曾經訪談過的小天后 Grace Davies 、於是長大真的努力加入 Grace Davies 團隊當了她的貼身助理！只是職場年輕人當「助理」真的只想一輩子當助理嗎？還不如說當助理的都是心懷更遠大志向、但從親炙大師風範為自己立下專業標竿，是要從萬事打雜的助理一職全面認識產業鍊與人脈、以待他日準備完全自己出師的！「隨侍大師當職場跳板」是每一個有志助理的本色，這樣錯了嗎？

Maggie 自己的音樂夢，不是要自己上舞台做自己音樂唱自己心聲，而是要當個製作人、到處尋找她所熱愛的音樂與音樂人、找到他們後給予精神的鼓勵與資源的幫助、以讓有才能有靈感有洞見的音樂人能夠充份發揮唱給世人聽！這樣想想，廣義說來，她想當的「製作人」與她正在當的「小助理」其實是異曲同工，這兩者的初衷都是輔助藝人讓他們發光，但人們往往生活很苦身負包袱與陰影、讓人們做起志業來都很有限地屈居現實忘卻理想，譬如此片「製作人」Jack 與「老助理」Gail 就辛苦一生已走向庸碌，每每令 Maggie 看在心裡記在心裏，誓言絕不重蹈他們的覆轍！
那麼 Maggie 怎麼身體力行做她的「小助理」與「製作人」？她身遭就這麼巧合地出現了兩個看似天差地遠的天才藝人：這一邊，是她已效命三年的天后 Grace Davies ，自己當個助理已經當到滾瓜爛熟可以打理天后後台身心舒暢了，但仍急切地想晉升成為「製作人」打理天后在前台藝術表現與職涯決策的身心；那一邊，則有個農民市場遇到的黑人小帥男 David，和自己一樣喜愛音樂如數家珍還挺心有靈犀的，而且他居然在農民市集廣場素人駐唱唱得真動人！只要一點專業的配器與混音、作為陪襯好好強調你聲音的本色、一定可以出師發片大放異彩！請讓我當你製作人吧！
本片這位 Maggie 簡直是全才、找不到缺點。她上班當助理當到超貼心超全面不說，她下班利用晚上幾個小時耕耘她的製作人夢想更是不落人後，以助理身份踏進錄音室信手捻來早已超專業，就是天后老闆聽到了也會心一笑毫不猶豫肯定其才用她的作品。只是，實力如此強大的 Maggie 心志卻沒那麼強，她明明比真製作人還厲害了，才不需什麼製作人虛名，但她面對素人歌手 David時還是不爭氣地說了謊，謊稱自己早就是個音樂製作人、手上有好多歌手忙翻了、只是本行行規不會洩漏歌手身份讓其他歌手知道 XD 哎，這麼有實力幹嘛不讓實力說話、卻偏要撒謊爭個虛名呢？

本片這位 Maggie 小妹努力工作夜以繼日、面面俱到令人如沐春風、簡直毫無缺點呀！但這個「覺得自己不夠行、需要虛名來壯膽」的自卑心結，恐怕就是唯一而致命的缺點，也真的在電影大約 3/4處把她打落谷底一無所有回家吃自己。這年輕人拼事業片型中老梗的「一無所有回家吃自己」，在許多男性電影中是回到美國中西部的農村老家見見老父，此片也很有男人味(!) 的 Maggie 則是回到加州最漂亮的海外小島 Catalina Island！這有她那固守小島廣播一生的原鄉老爸、她與老爸雖為父女也要像父子般喝杯啤酒話家常... 而最後，她所有的溫暖救贖也都將發生在原鄉。
這大家來到原鄉齊聚一堂的團員大戲，本片爆出的大梗是有點令人莞爾、不免也令人覺得大絕開得太大也太過巧合 XD 不過，看這部電影，我們想看的就是達妞那張滿懷夢想熱愛音樂的臉龐、想看的就是 Maggie 滿腹理想努力成就的音樂夢、想看的就是不求自我功名只想看音樂人發光揮灑的小助理之愛... 也許 Maggie 曾經走錯跌倒、曾經黯然失落，不過最後這仁慈的世界還是會讓女孩美夢成真的！不論是自己的音樂製作事業、還是自己對天后與新秀的期待、以及滿懷誠心鍥而不捨終於得到回報的愛，曾經卑微忐忑的夢想都會成真的。

助理這行不好當、製作人更是難當，不只是毫無包袱的音樂世家小妹一片天真理想，也有許多底層翻身汲汲營營的沈重包袱。看看此片老製作人 Jack 與老助理 Gail ，這兩位專業路上的長輩一開始都令理想基進的 Maggie 小妹大搖其頭；但，他們都是和天后一起從底層苦過來的、他們都有卑微的夢想也許只求個安穩、天后也許不安於他們的守成卻也對他們悉心關懷而尊重... 每每天后 Grace賞識 Maggie 才華時、也不忘提醒她「永遠不要削他們面子」。
也許，Maggie在把天后一人的事務做到面面俱到之餘，更要看見整個產業的各種甘苦辛酸，才能真正進入這行業出師成為「音樂製作人」吧？當然，要說什麼星夢淚痕與產業辛酸，本片都只是淺淺碰觸點到為止，並沒有要把黑暗面挖深搞壞觀眾的心情。畢竟，這部《天后小助理》還是一部徹頭徹尾的 "feel-good movie"，是五彩繽紛歡樂流暢滿滿金曲、要令觀眾心花怒放怦然心動的。話說 feel-good movie一直有種惡名、一直被視為不登大雅之堂，但在這 COVID-19 席捲的苦悶世界不正是大眾所需嗎？

本週長週末假期，看什麼電影心情最好？我毫不猶豫會推薦這部《天后小助理》！它沒有什麼多偉大的啟示或訊息，就只是一個惹人憐愛的小美女主角帶我們走跳LA，參加 LA 的音樂會與派對、走過 LA 的城市與自然、體驗 LA 的陽光與夜晚、認識不同的人們聽著不同的音樂... Dakota Johnson飾演這樣一個熱愛音樂奉獻自己的角色，那熱情陶醉無私奉獻理想夢想的身影與臉龐，與音樂完美地合而為一令人看了就愛上！看來達妞那「藝術電影 vs 小品喜劇」的雙元戲路仍在繼續拓展中，繼續期待。
