本動畫的製作公司為以高品質CG動畫聞名的「Sublimation」。本作是初次使用了「Sublimation」引以為傲的「賽璐珞CG」的動畫系列，將向全球展現《Dragon’s Dogma》的全新一面！
故事：時隔100年忽然再次現身的龍把Ethan的村莊燒為灰燼。Ethan為了守護心愛的家人而挺身對抗，卻被龍奪去了心臟。本以為已藥石無靈的Ethan竟作為「覺者」甦醒過來，身邊更突然出現名為Hannah的隨從 (Pawn)。他決心與Hannah一同踏上奪回心臟的旅程。在旅途上，Ethan需要跟代表七大罪的怪物戰鬥，然而他並未察覺到，每當打倒一頭怪物，自己的人性亦會隨之逐漸消逝……

Ethan, who seemed to have died, revives as the "Arisen" and embarks on a journey to regain his heart with Hannah, the Pawn who suddenly appeared in front of Ethan. While continuing the journey, Ethan will battle with monsters that embody the seven deadly sins, but each time he defeats the monster, he himself will also gradually lose his humanity...
