關於 throw out用法 ，我們在網路上蒐集到這些相關的討論、資訊與評價

這是 9 年前拍的照片，當我還在 UPenn 唸書的時候。每次在寫 paper 時就會有的爆炸場景。

當時的我其實很想要在美國當大學教授（不當就要回台灣改革 😂），對學術也很有興趣，所以 Dr. Butler 教授也邀請我加入她和博士生跟博士後研究生的研究會議。

在會議當中，常常聽到一些以前在台灣學英文時，很少聽到的用法。不管是 throw the baby out with the bath water、Let's not "reinvent the wheel"、還是 go back to the drawing board.

到現在我常常跟學生說，如果片語能力不好，出國生活、或跟老外聊天時，可能先培養的能力不是英文，而是「假笑」的能力。

沒有片語能力，也會碰到很多「詞不達意」的狀況。當你今天要問情侶朋友「誰在關係中比較 S？誰在關係裡比較強勢、是做主的那一方」時，只能說出 who is more dominant or who takes care of most of the important things？這種詞不達意的內容。

有了片語這類的語塊，我們便可以直接說出 Who wears the pants in your relationship?

喬其實有個六歲的女兒了，她非常可愛。女兒非常乖巧動人，所以讓喬非常想整理今天的單元- 「與狗相關之諺語與片語」。其實喬的女兒是柴犬啦哈哈！希望各位同學一起來學習今天與汪星人相關的整理吧！

【諺語】

＊亂入一個字彙 dogma (n.)，各位同學可以用「狗馬馬愛管閒事」去記誦，所以dogma的意思就是「教條、準則」，其形容詞”dogmatic = dogmatical” 為「教條的、獨斷的(過於遵守教條就會很獨斷)」

★ 「信用卡刷爆」、「不上相」、「分一杯羹」、「表現失常」、「打小報告」、「高攀不起」、「吊胃口」的英文你會說嗎？★

1. max out sb's credit card 信用卡刷爆

2. photogenic (a.) 上相的
另外，如果一個人照相照得不好看（單一事件)，可以說 “The picture doesn't flatter you!"

3. want a piece of pie 想分一杯羹

4. off one's game 表現失常 (動詞用 put 或是 throw)
<用法> 事情 put/throw sb off the game 讓某人表現失常

e.g. I am a bit tired, and that generally puts me off my game.

5. rat on sb 出賣～（也有打小報告的意思)

6. to be out of sb's league 高攀不起
e.g. He is so good-looking and so popular that I feel he is out of my league.

7. keep sb in suspense 掉～的胃口
e.g. Please don't keep me in suspense! 不要吊我胃口

8. I wasn't born yesterday! 我又不是三歲小孩!

Do you have the experience of having unsuited lipsticks even you bought with courage, or your favorite lipsticks are broken?

Case1: Different from expectation, it doesn’t suit to my skin. [Control the color and use it again!]
Using some tissue, remove the color a little and put on lip gloss.

Case2: Short of blush. [Reuse it as cheek blush]
It can use as cream blush.


Case3: My favorite lipsticks is broken.[reuse as lip cream.]
Melt lipsticks with Vaseline. So it turns to lip cream with color.

Case4:Run out of my favorite lipstick! [put rest of lipstick in lip pallet and reuse it]
Use it with mixing two colors.

ヴァセリンと一緒に溶かして色付きリップクリームに

case4：お気に入りのリップがなくなった...【リップパレットにして再利用♡】
2色混ぜながら使う

How do you do your laundry?
It happen sometimes that you just leave the clothes on the floor after you take it off.
Don't you want a convenience bag that you can just throw your clothes?

【Things to prepare】
☆Pattern 1
・Seria See grass mat 1x
・Seria window flame 2x
・Hemp string
・Fabric

☆Pattern 2
・Seria Sea grass mat 2x
・Hemp string
・Leisure sheet
・Stapler

【How to make】
☆Pattern 1
?Put the mat horizontally and connect the window flame then band it with the hemp string to make shallow container
?Spread the fabric which you like into ? to prevent the thing flow

☆Pattern 2
?Put the shorter part of the mat together with the hemp string. Do the same thing on the other side too.
?Turn the leisure seat to back side and fold it in two then staple it. Don't staple the upper part but turn it back to show the pattern.
?Put the leisure sheet bag in the tubular mat and put out the upper part to complete!

How do you like it?
If you use the Sea grass mat, you feel cool even it is still hot outside!
You can use it in other way not only for laundry!

【作り方】
☆パターン１
①マットを横向きにおいて、麻紐でウィンドウフレームを取り付けて底の浅い入れ物を作る。
②そこに好きな柄の布を敷いて小さいものがこぼれないようにして完成!!

☆パターン２
①マット２枚の短い方の辺を麻紐で縫い合わせるようにくっつける。もう一方の辺同士も同様に固定して筒状にする。
②レジャーシートを裏面を表にして二つ折りにし、ホッチキスで留めて袋状にする。完全に留めるのではなく、上半分程度はホッチキスをせずに折り返して中の柄が見えるようにする。
③袋状になったレジャーシートをマットの筒の中に入れ、折り返した部分を外に出して完成！
