10/10 - Free islandwide delivery @wearetwiceyoung on 10/10!
Celebrating a smol milestone of 1000 pints and 2000 cookies 🥳
It’s been 9 months since the inception of Twice Young and it certainly hasn’t been an easy journey. There were lots to figure out along the way, and I’m still learning and improving. But I’m beyond grateful for the immense support that Twice Young has received - all the positive reviews and feedback that were sent our way, local businesses who have worked with us, loyal customers etc. And I’m extremely thankful for friends and family who have been spreading the word and sharing about my smol biz.
It really isn’t easy working out of my small apartment, and I really struggle with the space constraints(not being able to buy ingredients/goods in bulk, not enough space in my freezer etc) and there were times when I got really frustrated with the lack of space to even bake. I probably take 3-4 times the amount of time that others would take to churn out the same products. Eg : it took me 11 hours to bake and pack 330 cookies.
You probably hear this a lot - running a biz is like a rollercoaster ride and it’s not easy. Well, it’s true, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
So to say thank you for keeping me going, on 10/10, Twice Young will be offering free islandwide delivery on all orders above $35
Place an order on www.wearetwiceyoung.com, key in 10/10 in “delivery date” box and transfer the stated amount without the shipping fee! Or simply place an order via DM. Orders have to be placed by 6th October 2359 (because I need to make the ice cream and cookie dough!!)
Drop me a DM if you have any questions okay! 🥳 Thank you for being part of my journey ❤️

(Ambassador Bi-khim Hsiao)!
★★★★★★★★★★★★
Ok, let’s go. First, the speech video itself: https://youtu.be/5ozMcauCjbs
★★★★★★★★★★★★
Thank you Karen for that kind introduction…
I’m so honored to be able to be here in person, to use this occasion to express my gratitude… to the so many outstanding freedom-loving legislators around the United States.
It is also recognition for the freedom-loving people of Taiwan, and our determination to keep Taiwan free.
We share with you the values of freedom and democracy, blah blah blah…
I often say that you are living in the land of the free.
We are living on the island of the free.
Good line,
*Btw, 為什麼是 “land of the free” 而不是 land of free 或是 free land?因為自由的不是土地,而是「人」,所以美國人才會說 “we are a free people”。
(Narrative)
We also believe that it is only in societies that respect the freedom of speech, where true innovation can propel technology that advances human progress, instead of technology that is abused and used for surveillance and controlling their people.
Can you spell B-O-R-I-N-G?
I’m an ambassador now, I work in Washington, DC, but I used to be like you, I came from a legislature in Taiwan, I understand that all politics are local. And when we go back to our constituents, we wanna deliver on economic progress, we wanna deliver on the common values that we share.
We’re in the State of Utah now, [Taiwan’s] size is only 15% the size of Utah, but we are the 8th largest consumer of US agricultural products in the world.
Which means, per capita wise, each Taiwanese citizen is the second largest consumer — per capita wise — the second largest consumer of American agricultural products.

I like him! ?
Dare to dream, dream big and DREAMS COME TRUE! ???????????
???李根興

Go to http://www.vessi.com/xiaoma to get $25 off some amazing Vessi shoes! As mentioned in the video, I will be donating 100% of the proceeds of their sponsorship to the nonprofit Na’atik Language and Culture Institute (https://www.naatikmexico.org/), which funds the language education of hundreds of kids in this part of Mexico. Anyway, this week I spent living in the remote Mayan village of Señor, Quintana Roo, located in the middle of the jungle in Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula, which is also known for such international tourist hotspots as Cancun and Tulum. Having seen my videos practicing the Mayan language here in Mexico, some people from the village invited me out here to experience true Mayan culture. So I decided to spend a week living in the village with a local Mayan family, practicing my Spanish and Mayan and just seeing what their traditional lifestyle is like. It was a totally different experience from being in Cancún or Tulum and it completely blew me away!
