💟錞姐又開竅·串字篇💟
雖然錞姐好幸運讀緊Happy School,一個月英文只會默一次書,但在過去10月第一次要溫習串英文生字時,Phoenix媽媽都係陪溫習到想「反枱」的狀態,因為...
1️⃣用phonics諗first/end sound ,但好似從來沒學過一樣
2️⃣用vowel切開音節但唔知咩叫vowel
3️⃣唔想估唔想試,因為唔想錯
4️⃣沒成功感·唔想用腦·沒限loop
我都唔知學校要串的生字係難/易/正常,例如有✏️「wonderful family」、「helpful classmates」、「clean our school」「beautiful teachers」等等,但我知道不停抄到記得係一定唔適合錞姐~
經過幾個月的嘗試,終於成功激活左working memory 同 long term memory,又或者...... 只係開竅的時間又到喇‼️方法是咁的~
🔸用磁石字母跟住生字砌一次,亦方便分開音節擺放
🔸溝亂字母後默砌幾次
🔸讀默到紙張,有錯即時再溫再默
🔸再不定時抽問
然後,有人依家會無啦啦走去話串字俾我聽,等我整個word bank貼出黎開心下先🎉🎉🎉🙌🏻😆

好多人著我教他們 phonics,好讓他們回家幫助孩子,其實香港的教師只是非常倉促地介紹一些 consonant & vowel sounds 而已,並沒有很有系統地利用 phonics 去教讀寫。例子,正統的方法,是學會了某些 phonics sounds,小朋友只自己拼讀這些 phonics sounds 所組成的字,而 spelling 也是拼寫這些字。如是者掌握基本42音,小朋友已經拼讀拼寫很多簡單的字,尤其cvc words(consonant-vowel-consonant),打後學習 digraph、r/l blends, tricky words 等等,小朋友可以獨立自己閱讀,進展便會加快很多。
但香港的教育那容許這般「慢學」?整個星期學/s/, /a/, /t/, /i/所組成的 is, at, sit, sat ... 有甚麼意思?快快教 a for astronaut, alligator。不是純粹認識生字,增加詞彙絕沒有問題,我談的是認讀和串字,結果小孩無法單從拼音去學習,需要死記、猜估,而 phonics 便沒法學得好,上了小學五、六年級,每個星期仍努力死背爛記一些幾年來不斷重覆默寫的簡單生字,就是記不牢。
首先,我這裡用的是 Jolly Phonics(簡稱 Jolly),以動作、短歌去記 42 個 phonics sounds,簡單容易有趣,尤其 Jolly 的歌仔由小朋友的歌聲唱出來真的十分動聽。Jolly 把 42 個音分成 7 組,不以 alphabetical order 去學習,這七組是按英文字詞出現的頻繁、深淺程度去設計:
1. s, a, t, i, p, n
2. c k, e, h, r, m, d
3. g, o, u, l, f, b
4. ai, j, oa, ie, ee, or
5. z, w, ng, v, oo, oo
6. y, x, ch, sh, th, th
7. qu, ou, oi, ue, er, ar
只要完成第一組,便可學習由這6個字母組成的
it, tin, pat, nip, sat, as, ant, tip, pan, sit。究竟怎樣由學會了字母的 sounds 到 blend 在一起而讀到字呢?Blending 的過程,有機會再談。

There are many advantages can be found by the inhaling sound.
First, The “Vocal Cord Closure”,
Because some of us will confuse the difference between
“Keep the air ” and “Breath through a closing vocal cord”
So some people will sing with too much air, and some will results too much tense even just practice there Fry
If You can Make constant deep breath, that is an “OPEN Vocal cord” with “a Diaphragm movement” through a relaxed throat. IF you can “just use Diaphragm” while not opening your vocal cord, you can make the “inhaling Sound”, and then “KEEP the muscle position to speak”
If you Do it Right, You can feel what is “air through vocal cord”, and you can understand the Second advantage, “Vowel with an open Space”, And You may feel its not that “relax” like you making sound while exhaling.
More, You will also get a Lower Larynx.
So, I think If you do it properly, you can make a more solid sound.
And It also explain why some teacher telling you to “singing like you are inhaling”
More Further, You can try extend the Inhaling time, then try to Speak during inhaling
You will Find a More solid position to pronounce the consonant,
For example, 2 3 4 5 6,
Okay, I think there are the idea and basic about inhaling sound
Those advantages may feel different between everyone,
You should Practice carefully with some rest, or maybe it will produce some damage.

Objective:
Identify the source of a sound
Related Milestones:
Increased coordination between sound an body movement (more likely to turn his head to a sound source).
Description:
Repeat a single syllable, letter, or vowel sound, trying to get you baby's attention. He will look for the source of the noise and begin to associate for the sounds with human face. Over time, he will understand that the sound comes from your mouth.
