Although we are not allowed to have music during the race, I definitely need music during training - specifically for running. Helping me to be Free to Focus in training these days is the @sonysingapore WF-SP700N Truly Wireless Noise-cancelling Sports Earphones.

The earphones fit well into my ear; most importantly they fit properly for BOTH long runs at slower speeds and intervals at higher speeds. (I've had earphones fall out of my ears during intervals LOL!) Interestingly, the earphones can work individually - which means both sides are able to turn on/off the earphones and control the music (pause/play), but there is no volume control on either side :(

One key feature of this is the noise cancellation - there are three levels you can choose from via the app. You can have full noise cancellation, ambient mode voice (everything tuned out except the human voice) or ambient mode normal (some ambient noise is let in). I prefer to have some ambient noise because I want to be able to hear if traffic is approaching, or if someone shouts at me to warn me of danger.

These are not waterproof, but it can take sweat and rain. Battery life is about three hours on a single charge for me, but the case can charge it up two times before you need to charge the case again.

Music soothes my soul, and I’m one who will always have my music with me when I workout. Earphones with wires are impossible for me to manage when I practice my Pilates moves on the Reformer.
