Throwback Post to what happened on today from the previous year!
1st - 3rd Photo: I did my first HM in PJ Half Marathon 2012. It was a good experience as I did quite well I think, clocking a time of 1:44:51 hours by running the first 10km, walk for 1km and then continue run for another 10km.
I still remember that I sprint the last stretch of the race as we finished the race inside the stadium. Then right after that, I got cramp on both my legs, can't even stand. So painful 🥺 even after tonnes of spray at that time. Lol.
4th photo: I did a 10km run at KLSCM and it didn't went well. I wore a running shoe given by my friend Rozmi. Ended up the race with both shoes on my hand as I took it off after it cause both my feet to have blisters. 😂
It was back in year 2013, and I finished the 10km with a time of 47:50 minutes. Pretty bad experience too. 😂
I took this photo with @daniell_yj and he did his marathon at that race I think.
5th photo: Group photo with my team @kuanjunhao123 @kuan.han @scheng_315 @nigelngkarkeys at Asics Relay. I was so happy back then when they won the event! So proud of them.
I myself team up with Team Asics Ambassador and we won the overall Marathon Relay event even though we were from a mixed team. So proud of my teammates.
6th photo: Last year @klscmarathon is a dream came true after winning the First Overall in the Major Event for the 10km Category. Running a 34:02 minutes. I got both 2nd place back in year 2017 and 2018 after the same Kenyan guy although I was the First Malaysian. I am so happy when I won it and the timing was good too, although my best time was back in year 2018 edition, when I clocked a 33:37 minutes, my fastest 10km time in Malaysia.
It was a really well organized race, a thumbs up to Dirigo Team for doing a really great job! I love the course and would love to come back again and improve the time. Also glad to have my running buddy @awanrun and Aliff Aiman
*Running had taught me so many valuable lessons and grew me up to where I am today, I am so glad that I take it seriously, learn and believe that I will becoming better everytime!
