Good morning!!
It's the first day of DECEMBER(!!) which is super insanely exciting in our household because it officially means that we can live, eat, breathe, celebrate to our little Christmas elf heart's content!
This year, I decided to introduce to Ella Grace the idea of an advent calendar. She's been so genuinely ecstatic watching all the decorations go up, I wanted to share with her the joy of counting down too.
I also wanted to encourage the idea that Christmas is about giving and loving on one another so I made her a little toddler-appropriate random acts of kindness advent.
I picked up some gift tags, washi tape, and ornaments from IKEA then just went to town on a window w a chalkboard pen after Ella Grace went to bed. Oh my heart was this such a special project and I hope it will be a part of our family tradition for years to come.
(mama hack: I timed it according to events on our calendar so as you choose what to do, also keep in mind where you might be or what you might have already had lined up that day!)
25 days to Christmas!!!!!!!! 😍🎉❤
ps. I've included some ideas below but feel free to add more in our #rkwXsmiggles Advent Calendar giveaway that is still going on! (scroll down a few posts below to participate!)
