Language is an essential part of any culture and in honor of July as AIT’s “Arts, Culture and Sports” month, we would like to recognize all of the Americans who will come to Taiwan this summer for intensive training in Mandarin. Last week, AIT hosted a group of high students from across the United States that are participating in the U.S. Department of State’s National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) program at Tamkang University. Taiwan is an amazing place to study Chinese, and we invite you to join us in welcoming this group of young Americans and wishing them the best for a productive summer.
