MOFA Minister and Czech Senate President Miloš Vystrčil took part in an online ribbon-cutting ceremony for an automated #FaceMask production line which #Taiwan donated to the country recently.
Minister Wu stated that he was happy to reunite with Senate President Vystrčil after the latter led a delegation to Taiwan last year, during which he proclaimed #WoShiTaiwanRen (#IAmTaiwanese).
Minister Wu stated that the joint work put in to get the production line up and running is a perfect example of how Taiwan and the #CzechRepublic have worked determinedly together to fight the #COVID19 pandemic in line with a joint statement issued in April of last year. He added that Taiwan has shown itself to be a reliable trade partner amid the shifting of global supply chains spurred by the pandemic.
Senate President Vystrčil thanked Taiwan for the donation and lauded the advances in economic cooperation, as well as in the technology and education sectors.
