Childhood trauma leaves a lifelong affect on the individual that experienced it. Its alters our thought process and eventually curbing them from living the full potential life we deserve. Constant physical, verbal or emotional abuse at such critical developmental stages, can damage our heart that it makes it easier to put up walls and harder to find the healing that we need.
But healing is important.
As hard it seems to be, the only way for us to get over the baggage that we carry since childhood is to face the past, like a brave-heart. You don’t need a drastic change but face it, one step at a time. First step to healing is to distant yourself from toxic people even if they are family. Allowing a positive environment rejuvenates your body, mind and soul.

There are going to be phases in your life that is painful and uncomfortable. They will question all the actions you’ve done for as long you’ve lived and wonder if there was something you could have changed. You will be doubtful of yourself and listen to hundreds of podcasts, to make your life better. None of these will be helpful because these are short term solutions. If you want to start somewhere, begin with forgiving yourself and knowing that you are a human who will make hundred of mistakes before doing it right. Stop beating yourself hard and understand that change is inevitable. Change is the only constant thing in life. All the pain will teach you something worth knowing and take you a step ahead to your higher self. Let go of your past and do not predict the future, be in your present. Forgive and forget. Let go of anything that burdens you. Take a deep breath and move forward. It is what it is, leave it behind. •

We all require healing from something we’ve experienced in life. Bad relationship, broken friendship or dysfunctional family - we are part of something that hurts immensely. We suffer silently with the pain and often seek for comfort in the arms of those who keep us safe from the memories. We need to heal in order to move on ; if wounds from the past has the tendency to inflict pain constantly then you will forever live on the edge, finding yourself shifting through emotions. You can be a survivor only if you are living to the fullest and for that, you need healing. The first step to healing is to let go of all the past memories, people and even places that reminds you of a painful experience even if it is the hardest thing to do 😊♥️🌈✨ ✨
