自從居家辦公之後，都沒有辦法從公司「不小心」帶走一些紙張給孩子畫畫，啊沒有拍戲，也沒有用過的劇本紙張給孩子們拿來用空白的背面畫畫，不過吼，孩子們畫畫用掉一堆紙張，還真的是很不環保，你們看就是這樣地球才越來越熱啊，樹都被砍掉了（不是因為孩子畫掉一堆紙啦喂！）

最近創勝文教 email 的內信充滿著如雪花般一封封的「留學錄取」好消息，非常替大家高興。但上了理想的學校，只是留學的第一小步。
不管留美還是留英，很多海外漂泊的台灣學生都跟我說，早知道出國前不要那麼短視只準備英語類留學考試。他們發現一開學後派山倒海而來的 papers 和 presentations，讓他們很吃不消。
不管是申請上什麼科系的學校:
✔︎ 大多台灣的學生，基本的 literature review 的要件是什麼都不知道，就出國了。
✔︎ 大多台灣的學生， 不知道怎樣合理地 paraphrase，就出國了。

➠ 所以他們常常說，美國同學即便有時不太認真，只要一上台 present，就架勢、台風十足，最後變成他們的加油、啦啦隊。
過去歷經西雅圖盛頓大學、賓州大學 (UPenn)、紐約哥倫比亞大學的求學過程，我觀察到周圍眾多在海外留學的台灣大學、碩博士生因為「寫作不夠好」，造成求學過程特別辛苦，影響到專業知識的吸收和思路的表達，甚至受到教授斥責。
這堂課，是為了奠定台灣本土大學生、研究生、以及台灣學生將到英國、美國等大學、研究所能無礙面對ㄧ個又一個的報告和 literature review 而量身打造設計的。！

MATERIALS
・An empty shoes box
・Brown Kraft papers
・Writing paper
・Thick colored paper
・Label notes
・Pens
・Stylish Stickers (Lace or gemstones)
STEPS
(Take the box as a measurement)
1. Fold a kraft paper in half
2. Position the paper in the centre of the box, hold the sides in. (see the clip)
3. Make a fan fold
4. Again, position the paper in the centre of the box, fold the sides in.
5. Repeat step1 ~ 4 to make desired fan folded storage folders as many as you wish,
then put in the box.
6. Stick label note on a writing paper then write down months on it.
7. Put the folded papers in the box and adjust them well.
8. Decorate the top of ox to finish.

・シューズが入っていた箱
・模造紙
・厚紙
・付箋
・ペン
・シール…レース、宝石など
【作り方】
①模造紙を中央で折る
②箱のサイズに合わせて両サイドを折る
③全体に山折りと谷折りを施す
④箱のサイズに合わせて左右を折る
⑤上の①〜④を繰り返して数個作り、箱の中に入れる
⑥厚紙に付箋を貼って月を記載する
⑦箱の中に適度に並べ入れる
⑧箱の表面にシールを貼って仕上げれば完成〜！

Thank goodness our suitcase was found with all items intact. It was no locked so it could've been easily stolen for sure. Now I know I must back up all my files frequently. Can't believe I've almost been in Hong kong for a week now. Heading back to the UK very soon but it won't be long until I'm back again =D. It's been such a reward being on "holiday relax" mode after spending 2 weeks on hardcore writing mode. I had no idea just how happy Isaac would be in Hong Kong. I haven't been able to vlog so much as the fatigue/jet lag has been holding me back. Starting to get more energy again!
More news, we went for a scan and guess what? WE KNOW!!!! We weren't planning to find out the gender. We successfully got the doctor to write in a piece of card. We then went on to sign the papers and sort out the payment too. We literally had one foot out the door when one of the receptionists accidentally let slip to us by congratulating us. It was such an awkward moment indeed but we can't even be angry at her because we're just happy with the news regardless. It would've been nice to be surprised but at least we can still surprise our family, friends and Bubz family!! Find out in 3 weeks ^_~
