โครงการ ‘Youth Co:Lab’ จึงขอเป็นหนึ่งพื้นที่สร้างความเข้าใจ ชักชวนให้ทุกคนเคารพความแตกต่างและเปิดรับความหลากหลาย โดยเปิดรับสมัครคนรุ่นใหม่อายุตั้งแต่ 18 - 29 ปี ทีมละ 3 - 4 คน ให้ส่งไอเดียนวัตกรรมเจ๋งๆ ที่ช่วยแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้งและป้องกันความรุนแรง ภายใต้หัวข้อ ‘Embrace Diversity’ หรือ ‘เข้าใจความแตกต่างหลากหลาย’ เพื่อเป็นพลังสร้างสันติภาพและเปลี่ยนแปลงสังคมให้น่าอยู่ขึ้น

โอกาสดีๆ ในการต่อยอดความคิดของคุณให้มีความยั่งยืน พร้อมติวเข้มกับ Mentor ที่มีประสบการณ์แขนงต่างๆ รวมถึงเข้าร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดและรู้จักเพื่อนใหม่ๆ ใต้อุดมการณ์เดียวกัน และลุ้นรับรางวัลเพื่อนำไปพัฒนาโครงการของคุณ

[English Below]เมื่อคำว่า ‘พวกเขา’ และ ‘พวกเรา’ กลายเป็นต้นเหตุของความขัดแย้ง และความเกลียดชังที่สะสมจนก่อปัญหาใหญ่ และสร้างความสูญเสียเป็นวงกว้าง

นอกจากนี้แล้วความขัดแย้งที่รุนแรงอาจเกิดได้จากอีกหลากหลายสาเหตุ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความเหลื่อมล้ำในการเข้าถึงโอกาสทางเศรษฐกิจและการศึกษา การเมือง ความเชื่อ หรือกระทั่งความยุติธรรม ซึ่งหนึ่งในหนทางที่จะช่วยแก้ปัญหาเหล่านี้ คือการสร้างพื้นที่ให้ทุกคนมีความเข้าใจความหลากหลายมากยิ่งขึ้น

Conflict begins with simple words like “us” and “them” that have done more damage than imaginable. To solve the problem, we should create an inclusive space to embracing diversity.

Youth Co:Lab is a program organized every year by UNDP, co-led with Citi Foundation with an aim for young people to showcase their innovative ideas and creativity and make them a sustainable reality. This year of 2019 Youth Co:Lab in Thailand is held under the theme ‘Embracing Diversity’ - to welcoming, respecting, and accepting the differences in society.

“How can we inclusively design a multi-cultural society in Thailand?”
.

As a team of 3-4 young talents between 18-29 years old. you’re invited to propose a solutions to this important question, be it a one-off project or a business plan or whatever you have in mind, send it in!

A chance to develop your ideas to a sustainable model with experienced mentors, get exposed to experts and investors, as well as connect with like-minded peers for a fruitful conversation, inspiration, and network.

It was a fantastic and inspiring day at Youth Co:Lab Asia-Pacific Summit 2019, co-led by United Nations Development Programme - UNDP and Citi

I’m simply grateful for the chance to contribute my part to this important movement of social innovation and youth entrepreneurship.

I had a tons of fun hosting the summit and telling my story.

Will write a small post about what inspired me and what I learned from today. But not now, because I really need to get some sleep. 😛
