(Today’s sermon broadcast in New Creation Church’s online service) Pastor Joseph Prince taught that a broken spirit dries up the bones, making one sick, weak, and age quickly. On the other hand, a merry heart is good like medicine—it brings health to the whole body. You can rejoice at all times in the Lord because Jesus took your pains, griefs, sorrows, sicknesses, diseases at the cross. Now you are the righteousness of God in Christ. This is the reason we rejoice, not because of circumstances in our lives. Hallelujah! Read the detailed sermon notes of this message here ⬇️

Fulfilled Prophecies about Jesus Christ
It is amazing that Psalm 22 was written roughly 1000 years before Jesus Christ was born, and yet it accurately predicts the way that He would die.
“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?” (Psalms 22:1 WEB)
Jesus said these words while on the cross. You could argue that He knew the Scriptures and could have easily quoted them.
But surely He couldn’t orchestrate the way people would despise and insult Him while He hung on the cross. Even the words used are the same:
“But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised by the people. All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying, “He trusts in Yahweh; let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.”” (Psalms 22:6-8 WEB)
When the Roman soldier pierced Jesus’ side, blood and water flowed out, showing that His heart was literally broken (ruptured).
“I am poured out like water. All my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it is melted within me.” (Psalms 22:14 WEB)
He was thirsty. Remember He said “I thirst.”
“My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.” (Psalms 22:15 WEB)
Jesus’ hands and feet were nailed to the cross. His body was torn by the stripes inflicted by the whip lashes He endured.
“For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet. I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me.” (Psalms 22:16-17 WEB)
The expensive robes that Jesus wore were from Herod’s palace, so the Roman soldiers gambled for His robes, at the foot of the cross.
“They divide my garments among them. They cast lots for my clothing.” (Psalms 22:18 WEB)
It is amazing how many prophecies about the Messiah are in this psalm alone. Jesus fulfilled them at the cross.
One more remains unfulfilled:
“All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to Yahweh. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you. For the kingdom is Yahweh’s. He is the ruler over the nations. All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who can’t keep his soul alive.” (Psalms 22:27-29 WEB)
This one will be fulfilled when Jesus returns to reign on earth. He will set up His physical kingdom on earth and reign over the earth for a thousand years with us, until the final Satanic rebellion.
The preceding prophecies in Psalm 22 have already been fulfilled, so we believe and are certain that all the remaining prophecies will be fulfilled too.
“And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison, and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. They went up over the width of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the beloved city. Fire came down out of heaven from God, and devoured them. The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” (Revelation 20:7-10 WEB)
This real-life story has a happy ending. The devil will be torment continually, and we will enjoy eternity with God forever. Are you excited? I am! Hallelujah!
When Jesus establishes His Millennial kingdom, He will hold a great feast called the “Marriage Feast of the Lamb”. That event is also an awards ceremony for believers. You will receive great eternal rewards from Jesus for everything good you’ve done for His sake: http://bit.ly/sandcastlesdontlastforever

My beautiful family! This photo was taken over the weekend. Notice that I’m smiling weirdly? I was wearing a mouthguard because my front tooth’s filling had dropped out.
Yesterday, I visited the dentist and he did a temporary filling for me, but he recommended that I get a dental crown done this Friday because the current filling will not hold since I only have three quarters of my broken tooth left. The procedure is estimated to be costly: S$1200.
In the meantime, I’m praying and believing for a creative miracle so that when I go to the dentist on Friday, he will find that the filling has become part of a whole, real tooth!
A dear patron has shared testimonies of teeth healings to encourage me, and I’m partaking of Holy Communion twice a day, and confessing healing and wholeness over my tooth.
Will you agree with me in prayer too?
A verse that the Holy Spirit gave to me:
“Your teeth are like a flock of newly-shorn sheep coming up from the washing place; each of them has a twin, and not one of them is missing.” (Song of Solomon 4:2 NET)
Can you envision that? A sparkling white, beautiful, neat set of teeth. Receive this for yourself too if you have any dental problems.
Let’s manifest perfect teeth that are “not missing” in any way. Hallelujah!

"Hallelujah" là ca khúc được sáng tác bởi ca sĩ người Canada, Leonard Cohen, được phát hành lần đầu tiên trong album Various Positions vào năm 1984. Chỉ có một thành công rất nhỏ lúc đầu, song ca khúc trở nên nổi tiếng toàn thế giới sau khi được John Cale rồi sau đó Jeff Buckley hát lại. Đây cũng chính là chủ đề của cuốn sách tiểu sử về Cohen The Holy or the Broken: Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley & the Unlikely Ascent of "Hallelujah" (2012) của Alan Light.

Lyrics:
Well, I heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
Well it goes like this:
The fourth, the fifth, the minor fall and the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah...
Well your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew ya
She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your throne and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah...
Baby, I've been here before
I've seen this room and I've walked this floor (you know)
I used to live alone before I knew ya
And I've seen your flag on the marble arch
And love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah...
Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry that you hear at night
It's not somebody who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah...
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah

"A New York City Christmas" by Rob Thomas
Call on your Angels, come down to the city
Crowd around the big tree, all you strangers who know me
Bring your compassion, your understanding
Lord, how we need it on this New York City Christmas
Yeah, I'm sending you a Merry New York Christmas
And a prayer for peace on earth within our time
Hear the sidewalk Angels echo, "Halleluja"
We understand them, now more than ever
So call on your angels, you're beaten and broken
It's time that we mended so they don't fade with the season
Let our mercy be the gifts we lay from Brooklyn to Broadway
And celebrate each and every day of this New York City Christmas
Yeah, I'm sending you a Merry New York Christmas
And a prayer for peace on earth within our time
Hear the sidewalk angels echo, "Halleluja"
We understand them, now more than ever
Merry New York Christmas
Call on your Angels, come down to the city
Let's crowd around the big tree, all you strangers you know me
Bring your compassion, bring your forgiveness
Lord, how we need it on this New York City Christmas
Yeah, I'm sending you a Merry New York Christmas
And a prayer for peace on earth, it's not too late
Yeah, the sidewalk Angels echo, "Hallelujah"
We understand them, we hear them say
Merry Christmas, ah yeah, yes, a New York City Christmas
Merry New York Christmas
