The Chocolate Flourless Cake was really chocolatey and it makes the perfect guilt-free treat for sure! Chocoholics will definitely give their stamp of approval!
The Niko Neko Hojicha with Panna Cotta & Praline was something very different. It’s very common to see Hojicha chiffon cake / Hojicha cake with sliced strawberries/Hojicha mousse cake out there in bakeries/ stores, hence this Hojicha Cake with Panna cotta and Praline is definitely a little something. You get the bits and pieces of panna cotta layered in between the hojicha sponge cake and the hojicha coating on the outside isn’t too sweet as well. The addition of daisy flowers on top of the cake have also definitely elevated the whole look of the cake. As shown from their feed, their whole cake looks super pretty!
Next up we have the Strawberry Yoghurt Cheesecake!!! This would be perfect for you all cheesecake lovers. With that hint of sweet & sour strawberry cream layered on top, it’s a well-made cheesecake.
Not forgetting the carrot cake, the cinnamon, walnuts and cream cheese frosting in this is sure to impress.
All in all, each of these cakes has not only distinct ingredients, but a method all on its own, so it’s really amazing to see how Epic cures whisk up all of these! So damn impressive! For those looking for personalised birthday cakes or even beautifully crafted tasty cakes, do reach out to them!

It’s not only just carrot cake that’s tasty from @amelia_carrot_cake . Even though it’s not the season for 粽子, there’s no reason to miss these new delicious Nyonya Dumpling and Meat Dumpling. Both are filled with lots of ingredients, with the latter being plumped up with salted egg yolk, chestnut, mushrooms and mixture of fatty-lean meat.

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Yishun, 618 Sim Carrot Cake serves up a really unique plate of carrot cake. 41-year-old Stanley is the second-generation owner. He has been learning from his mother for a year before he decided to quit his job early this year to work as full-time with his parents.
From the carrot cubes to the chye poh, they have added their own seasoning to make it incredibly tasty. Upon serving, they will give you more chye poh at the side, how awesome is that! While you’re enjoying the carrot cake, remember to pair each mouthful with the chye poh. Neither pork nor lard is used in the preparation of the dish.
If it is your first time here, you must order the carrot cake with prawns (from $4.50). The prawns were diced into small pieces and fried together with the carrot cake and chinese celery. The fragrance of chives and the aroma of prawns elevated the overall taste of this carrot cake.

You can also use an 18 x 8cm / H6cm mold.
80g (0.35 cup) soy yogurt
110g (0.56 cup) brown sugar
80g (0.73 cup) pecan nuts
1 carrot (140g) 5oz
80g (0.35 cup)Vegetable oil
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
160g (1.28 cup) flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
-Optional-
Cardamom and nutmeg
200g (0.9 cup) cream cheese
40g (0.33 cup) powdered sugar
180°C(356F)50 minutes
Cut the surface of the cake, after 20 minutes.
Wrap the cake in plastic wrap and let it sit overnight.

Hello friends! Today we're going to share with you how to make a classic carrot cake and velvety cream cheese frosting.
Be honest, we’ve never tried a carrot cake before, until we found this recipe. We’re so surprised that It’s so easy and super super yummy. Everybody loves it. This cake is totally different from sponge cake or chiffon cake, it’s dense, super soft and deeply moist. And adding the walnuts in the batter is the perfect combination.
Carrot cake is an old fashioned dessert. Many food historians believe carrot cake originated from Europeans in the Middle Ages, when sugar and sweeteners were expensive and many people used carrots as a substitute for sugar. Even use it to make desserts.
This recipe is from the famed Rose Bakery in Paris. Their carrot cake is the best selling item in each of its locations in Paris, London, New York, Tokyo, Seoul and etc. And now it’s also our best ever carrot cake. We invite you to enjoy and explore this new cake.

How to make Carrot Cake Recipe
Carrot Cake Recipe Recipe
☞ Cake pan size: 15cm/ 6inch
✎ Ingredients
☞ For the cake
carrots 250g, peeled
egg 2, at room temperature
granulated sugar 112g
vegetable oil 150ml (133g)
all-purpose flour 150g
ground cinnamon 1.3g (1/2 tsp)
baking powder 2g (1/2 tsp)
baking soda 1.5g (1/4 tsp)
salt 1.6g (1/4 tsp)
walnuts 75g
☞ For the icing
cream cheese 125g, at room temperature
unsalted butter 62g, at room temperature
vanilla extract 2g (¼ tsp)
powdered sugar 30g
✎ Intructions
1. Preheat the oven to 170˚C
2. Butter the cake pan and line its base with a parchment paper.
3. Roughly chop the walnuts and then place them into the food processor, use the pulse function so you don’t end up with walnut paste.
4. Peel the carrots and remove the top and bottom. Cut into small chunks. Place the carrot chunks into the food processor, finely grated. Or grate the carrots on the small holes of grater. Set aside.
5. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, ground cinnamon and salt together, mix well.
6. Beat the eggs and sugar on medium speed for 3 minutes with an electric hand mixer, until fluffy and a bit of light.
7. Gradually pour in the oil little by little while beating constantly until fully combined.
8. Add the carrots and fold evenly by spatula, then add the dry ingredients into the mixture until just to incorporate. Finally fold in the walnuts.
9. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for about 45~50 minutes or until a knife or sticker inserted in the center comes out clean.
10. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan, once the pan is cool to the touch, remove the cake from the pan and let cool completely on the rack.
11. Make the icing. Beat the butter with vanilla extract, till smooth, then add the cream cheese and beat for a few minutes till the mixture is well combined. Add the powdered sugar and mix well.
12. When the cake is cold, ice the top with the icing, it can be as smooth or rough as you like.

如果你是烘焙愛好者,喜歡嚐新又熱愛探索,並樂於體驗糕點的各種風味,那麼一定不要錯過這款外型與口味都個性鮮明的胡蘿蔔蛋糕。記得在十幾年前,胡蘿蔔蛋糕曾經熱門過一段時間,很多咖啡廳的甜點櫃裡都有這道甜點,說起來胡蘿蔔蛋糕算是歷史相當久遠的糕點,據說可追遡到中世紀的歐洲,當時因為糖是稀有食材,因此人們經常拿使用有甜味的胡蘿蔔來製作糕點,即使到現在這款蛋糕在歐洲許多國家,都算是很經典且常見的甜點,而英國人對它的熱愛更是歷久不衰。
我們這次的食譜是參考巴黎一間非常有名的英式烘焙坊 Rose Bakery 的做法,胡蘿蔔蛋糕是這家店的招牌甜點,也是最暢銷的一款蛋糕,據說經常是每天出爐沒多久就被搶購一空,很多媒體也將他們家的這個蛋糕譽為史上最好吃的胡蘿蔔蛋糕喔!
而且毫無疑問的,現在也成我們家人心目中的第一名的胡蘿蔔蛋糕。它吃起來濕潤、鬆軟、香氣四溢,雖然加了大量的胡蘿蔔,卻完全沒有一絲蔬菜的味道,非常奇特;而搭配奶油起士糖霜,一口吃下去,你只會感到滿足,若能再喝口熱茶,簡直是完美的組合,有興趣的朋友千萬不要錯過哦!

英式胡蘿蔔蛋糕怎麼作呢?
下面是這款英式紅蘿蔔蛋糕做法與食譜:
☞ Cake pan size: 15cm/ 6 inch,
☞ 這次麵糊的份量可以做一個直徑15公分圓形蛋糕,以及兩個小型的杯子蛋糕
✎ 材料 / Ingredients
☞ 蛋糕
紅蘿蔔 250g, 去皮、去頭尾後淨重
雞蛋 2 顆, 常溫
細砂糖 112g
蔬菜油 150ml (用橄欖油也很推薦)
中筋麵粉 150g
肉桂粉 1.3g
無鋁泡打粉 2g
蘇打粉 1.5g
鹽 1.6g
核桃 75g
☞ 奶油乳酪糖霜
奶油乳酪 125g, 室溫軟化
無鹽奶油 62g, 室溫軟化
香草精 2g
純糖粉 30g
✎ Instructions
1. 烤箱預熱 170˚C
2. 先幫烤模刷上一層薄薄的奶油,另外在底部舖上烘焙紙
3. 粗略的把核桃切小,再用食物料理打成細碎,建議使用點按方式來攪碎以避免過度出油或打成泥狀
4. 胡蘿蔔削皮、去頭尾,再切成小塊,用食物料理機打成細碎即可,保有一點口感,一樣是小心別打過頭變成胡蘿蔔泥
5. 料理盆內加入所有乾料:麵粉、泡打粉、蘇打粉、肉桂粉和鹽,充份混勻
6. 盆裡加入兩顆蛋以及細砂糖,以中速攪打約 3 分鐘,直到顏色變淡、質地變膨鬆、濃稠
7. 接著,像打美乃茲那樣緩慢均速地倒入蔬菜油,邊倒油邊以低速攪打,倒完油之後,再以低速多打約兩分鐘,直到完全乳化、融合
8. 加入胡蘿蔔適度拌勻,接著把乾料過篩加入,以切拌法混勻到看不見乾粉(不要過度攪拌),最後再加入核桃,一樣適度拌勻即可
9. 把麵糊倒入已事先抹過油的烤模裡,麵糊約倒六分滿,還會剩下一點麵糊,大約可以多烤兩份杯子蛋糕,做好的麵糊不能久放要立刻烘烤,烘烤時間為45-50分鐘,或烤到刀子或竹籤插進去,拔出來時是乾淨的
10. 從烤箱取出,在烤模裡放涼,一旦手摸烤模不會太燙的時候,取出蛋糕於層架上完全放涼
11. 製作奶油糖霜,以手持攪拌器攪打軟化奶油跟香草精至膨鬆泛白,再加入軟化的奶油乳酪打至完全混合均勻滑順,最後拌入糖粉,攪勻即可
12. 把糖霜塗抹在蛋糕上面,可以用刮刀修整平滑,或者很隨性的粗糙紋路都可以,蛋糕送進冰箱冰最少一個小時再享用
