Hopped over to Macau real quick to celebrate the @michelinguide 2020 announcements and indulged in a 7-course meal prepared by an all-star team of Michelin-starred chefs from all over the world !!! ⁣
⁣
First up was @alainducasse’s chilled blue lobster in a rich nage topped with a mound of gold caviar!⁣
⁣
Next up was @fabrice_vulin of The Tasting Room’s lightly smoked salmon coated in a watercress cream with acidulated beetroot (featured image). ⁣
⁣
The next dish was an umami vegetable soup with yuba and black truffle prepared by Chef @kuniotokuoka_kyotokitcho of⁣
@kyotokitcho_official. ⁣
⁣
The fourth course was a steamed pork dumpling with sea urchin and bird’s nest resting in a pumpkin broth topped with Alaskan king crab leg by Chef Lau Yiu Fai of Yan Toh Heen.⁣
⁣
Chef @alexatala also made an appearance all the way from São Paulo creating the 5th course made with barao potato, white chocolate, and beluga caviar.⁣
⁣
Representing Jade Dragon, Chef Kelvin Au Yeung prepared slow cooked Westholme Wagyu beef cheek with dried abalone and white truffle.⁣
⁣
Ending on a sweet note, pastry king @pierrehermeofficial came through with his “Ultimate” all-chocolate-everything dessert served in a cacao-shaped shell filled with different textures of chocolate, cookies, and vanilla ice cream. ⁣

Harro everyone. I’ve always been on some sort of social networking platform (from Asian Avenue to Facebook) but i’ve never committed fully to a blog. I’m extremely new to this whole blogging scene so bare with me as I slowly piece things together and experiment with ideas. Telling you a little about myself is probably a good way to start. So here we go! My name is Nicole. I was born and raised in Calgary and have since returned to the mother land, now residing in Hong Kong. I grew up in a semi-traditional household as both my parents immigrated to Canada quite young but still kept their roots intact. My dad is a crazy good cook and my parents were previous restaurant owners. I remember involuntarily sacrificing my summer holidays grindin’ at the restaurant (aka child labour). Apparently, my nimble fingers were the essential tools to wonton wrapping, spring roll rolling and dumpling folding. I don’t follow many food blogs mainly because theres too much reading involved. So basically That Food Cray !!! is exactly how I would want to see a food blog run. Wouldn’t you rather SEE pictures/videos of food than read about food? I don’t want to bore with a novel about how my hamburger tasted. I’m hoping That Food Cray !!! will stand out from the rest visually, creatively, and above all else not create a pretentious foodie platform. Hoping to leave with a happy ending… aka foodgasm. -Nicole

Life got off pretty nicely with a Michelin 2* 🌟🌟

• 🦀 Crab Roe huge Xiao Loong Bao, or a 蟹粉灌湯包. 正到講你都唔信 😋😋😋

• The Chili Poached Fish 水煮飄香沸騰魚 MOP $338 here comes with many slices of Mandarin fish, and also surprisingly served with Japanese Udon instead of 薯粉. I really loved this dish, but I think the Sichuan Peppercorn & Oil input could be even stronger... apparently many restaurants down South of China especially in Canton 廣東省 region think customers aren’t used to that Sichuan Pink or Green Peppercorn tongue numbing taste Sensation associated with Sichuan cuisine. As a Michelin 2 Starred 🌟🌟 rated restaurant Representative here however, I think a bold Chef & Kitchen will educate customers on how it shud be served too somehow!

In this crazy fitness adventure we try to burn enough calories to eat a delicious Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory!

In this Fitness adventure vlog we explored Taipa Pequena, a great hill in Macau with lots of workout stations and nice hiking trails.

The goal of this workout adventure was to do enough body weight exercises and hiking to burn over 1000 calories so that we could eat a Cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, guilt free!

We started our Macau adventure at the Taipa Waterfront, overlooking Macau tower and the Macau city skyline.

Here we walked towards the hill we would be working out in.

Once we arrived these are the body weight exercises that we did:

Stair Climbers: Sprinting up stairs or even walking is a great way to burn fat and build muscle in your lower body.

Push ups: This body weight workout is perfect for toning your upper body and can help prevent shoulder injury.

Star Jumps: This basic cardio exercise allows you to increase your stamina and can help you run faster and jump higher.

Leap Frogs: This partner body weight workout is great for working your butt and lower body muscles.

Sprints: A great stamina workout, increasing your stamina and cardiovascular endurance.

Hiking: I was surprised how good hiking was at burning calories, it can be a fun easy way to loose weight and explore off the beaten path places.

Pull ups: This is a tough body weight workout but great for building your grip strength as well as working your back, biceps and overall upper body muscles.

Burpees: This body weight exercise is the best for burning fat and gaining muscle at the same time. It will raise your heart rate even higher then sprinting so is great for stamina and endurance too!

Squat Jumps: This body weight workout allows you to grow your lower body muscles in an explosive, intense body weight workout!

Wheelbarrow and Partner Lifts: This body weight partner workout works your whole body.

All these workouts can be done indoors or without a gym.

To celebrate burning 1000 calories in 1 day we went to the Cheesecake Factory to eat the best Cheesecake in the world!
