【#新聞點評Viewpoint】中國政府，面對現實吧，你永遠壓服不了香港人。流水革命由6月9日至今剛好半年，中國既不敢承受金融風險出動解放軍、又不願意作出讓步回應五大訴求，只能不斷升級警暴試圖壓服港人。但香港共同體的堅韌不屈，加上自由世界之支援，已令這個策略無法收效。中國當然可以再升級警暴、甚至出動解放軍，但不少香港人已決志攬炒；而中國越遲讓步，恐怕最終只會讓得更多。
Face reality, Chinese government. You can never subdue Hongkongers. Today marks the half-year anniversary of the Water Revolution. For 6 months, China is unwilling to bear the financial shocks of PLA’s crack down nor to make any concession. It therefore tries to put down the Water Revolution with the least cost by choosing to escalate police brutality. But the resilience of the Hong Kong nation and the support from Free World have made this strategy ineffective. Of course, China can further escalate police suppression and even deploy the PLA, but many Hongkongers are ready to let China to "burn with us"; and the later the concession, the more China has to make finally.
