繼Scratchophone又一個DIY的演出唱盤組！
　
外觀類似QFO，把唱盤部件都改裝到小鼓裡面，外搭Raiden Fader跟小Mixer，再放上鼓架就能現場演出了！(不過仍需插電還沒有Scratchophone來得行動方便)

Drum Roll Please!!! Introducing the Snare Drum Turntable©® in all its shining prototype glory! Well almost actually smoking glory as the onboard sound system decided to self destruct, but fear not my fellow table turners the turntable survived! What a great weekend!!
After having a wonderful at ithaca, we rushed back for MSU Day of Rudimental Percussion.

Congrats to Dr. Jon Weber for this amazing day of percussion! So many cool music, and so many cool fun msu drumline stories! The performance of MSU drumline is just speechless, and MSU percussion ensemble also performed three cool pieces at the event.

Also, shout out for our wonderful clinician Dr. Wiggins and Jeff Queen! (AND I feel so special that they both remember me!!!!!!!!!!ahhhhh!!!!)

我只能說，我們學校行進鼓隊整個太強，要速度有速度，要音色有音色，要整齊又那麼整齊，更重要是花招又那麼帥！學姊我驕傲！

又一年擔任朱宗慶打擊樂團2018台北國際打擊樂夏令營的翻譯。今年對我來說也是全新的體驗，對非洲鼓樂相當不熟的我，竟然擔任非洲鼓大師Paschal Younge老師的小助教。從一開始在課堂上幫不上忙，到後來可以一起同樂，感謝Paschal老師的包容。更謝謝朱宗慶老師、黃堃儼老師一次一次的給我機會，擔任夏令營的翻譯。最後，恭喜所有學員完成一星期艱難的各種挑戰！

Once again, I had the honor to be part of Ju Percussion “Taipei International Summer Camp”. This year I was honored to translate and teach for Professor Paschal Younge’s African Drumming class! The amazing thing is that I was at Paschal’s class when he came to teach the summer camp 20 years ago. To my surprise, Paschal still remember my face!!
Thank you Paschal, I learned so much from you! And thank you Mr. Ju and Larry for having me again this year. Congrats to all the students completing in the courses. I have seen how much you all have grown into better musicians and human beings.

I’ve been spending the last two or three weeks studying Wolof, a West African language spoken in Senegal, the Gambia, and Mauritania, and today I’ve come to Harlem to try it out in NYC’s Little Senegal neighborhood, including at the Malcolm Shabazz Harlem Market and the great Senegalese restaurant Le Baobab on 116th street.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to try Senegalese cuisine, I would highly recommend checking out the ceebu jën (also spelled thieboudienne) here, which is Senegal’s national dish! It’s also the origin of the popular Nigerian and Ghanaian dish “jollof rice” — the word “jollof” actually originally refers to Wolof!

I learned by chatting with Awa on Italki for 1-2 hours per day. If you’re interested in learning Wolof or French (she’s a native French speaker as well), I would highly recommend booking a lesson with her — she’s an absolutely amazing teacher! https://www.italki.com/teacher/6971240
