String of Heart (Ceropegia woodii) has become my favourite now due its beautiful gorgeous trailing hearts!
As a succulent, it might be a challenge for those not who don’t understand them (like me) so my experiments are right now focus on understanding these plants at home (I have a few variety of strings atm).
Amongst all the strings, I find String of Hearts the most forgiving and fast growing!
They love a bit of warmth, bright light (not direct light or it’ll burn!) and a good soak once the soil is completely dry.
I made my own fast draining soil mix for this using succulent / cacti soil + perlite + coconut husks (swipe to see last pic).
There’s a few variety, like the variegated, the all green; the silver. IDK what mine is but I am in love with how long it has grown! Which is over a meter now.

Ingredients:
Shrimp
Butter
Coconut milk
Coconut cream
Garlic, Onion, Ginger, and Chili minced
Black pepper and Salt
String Beans (Sitaw)
Instructions:
Heat butter in a pan
Sauté Garlic, Onion, Ginger, and Chili
Pour-in coconut milk. Let boil and reduce to half. Note: this is done by letting coconut milk evaporate by boiling in medium heat.
Add ground black pepper and salt.
Turn-off heat and then transfer to a serving plate
Serve.

180ml Japanese Rice (6.1 fl oz)
4 Large Prawns
80g Boiled Octopus, thinly sliced (2.8 oz)
1 Squid with skin removed, cut into rings
100g Chicken, cut into bite-size pieces (3.5 oz)
½ Red Bell Pepper, cut into 1cm thick strips
5 String Bean Pods, cut in half
2 tbsp White Wine
¼ tsp Saffron soaked in 50ml of water for over 20 minutes
¼ tsp Paprika Powder
1 Large Garlic Clove, (chop half of the garlic clove)
50g Onion, chopped (1.8 oz)
100g Tomato, coarsely chopped (3.5 oz)
2 tbsp Olive Oil
¼ tsp Salt
½ tsp Bouillon Powder
½ Lemon
* Be sure to use an oven-safe pan or pot if it is placed in the oven.
