Hi korang. Kami nak share baru-baru ni kami terima surprise box dari Kimball. Kalau siapa tengok my igstory, mesti dah tahukan. Ok yang belum tahu, dalam kotak surprise tu antara barangan produk Kimball yang kami dapat seperti Sos Tiram, Sos Cili, Sos Tomato, Pasta dan Sos Spageti.
Seronok bukan main sebab kami nak share menu special hari ni dengan korang menggunakan produk Kimball. Kami memang dah lama pakai produk Kimball since belum kahwin sebab mak buka kedai makan so memang semua masakan mak menggunakan produk Kimball.
Yang paling bestkan, bila kita menggunakan produk Kimball ni kan, masakan menjadi seperti masakan di restoran. Lagipun produk Kimball ni semuanya halal.
Sempena Kempen “Kompem Gaya Malaysia” dari Kimball, kami nak share resepi Mee Udang Kimball. Antara bahan-bahan yang kami guna ialah Sos Cili, Sos Tomato, Tomato Puree dan Spaghetti. Kami suka sos Kimball ni sebab cukup rasa. Kebanyakkan produk Kimball ni memang wajib ada di rumah. Seronok dan senang nak masak dengan Kimball sebab menjadikan masakan lebih lazat, memenuhi citarasa seisi keluarga.

Everyone has their must haves for Hari Raya. Either it’s Lemang or Lodeh or Burasak or Sambal Kacang .. it really depends on the family’s self made ritual and habit .. I originate from down south, Johor. My mother has 5 sisters and our families used to be very close knitted.. each year on the morning of Hari Raya. We usually gather at one of my aunties house. And it was a feast of the eyes when you see how my mother n her sisters would prepare different types of Raya goodies that would fill the table. We would at least have 9 to 10 dishes all spread out as a feast. After we moved up to KL it would continue at our cousin brothers place, where my mother n I use to stay. Now slowly but surely with everybody having their own small family unit the tradition then dilutes off into new traditions and following. But for me I guess I am traditional in many ways. I like to keep such traditions running. With home gate wide open on the first day of Raya, seeing happy faces feasting and catching up till late. Cheerful , warm voices filling the walls of the house on that day. Feels “nice” . It gives me something to look out for on that special day. It makes that day an extra bit more “special” to me. This year my gates won’t be open. But the house will still be decked and food would definitely be cooked and packed ready to be shared with close relatives n family friends.. from my mother and me. Paru masak berempah ni resepi bonda yang menjadi favorite kami adik beradik. Resepi yang sedap ni sangat mudah dengan bahan-bahan yang pasti ada di dalam rumah.
Bahan-bahan:-
500 gm paru, direbus dan dihiris ikut saiz kesukaan
3 ulas bawang merah, dihiris
2 ulas bawang putih, dihiris
1 inci halia, dihiris
2 batang serai, diketuk
1 bungkus serbuk kari
3 keping asam gelugur
1 tangkai daun kari
air dan garam secukupnya
Cara membuatnya:-
1. Tumis serai hingga kekuningan dan masukkan bawang merah, bawang putih, halia hingga kekuningan dan naik bau.
2. Masukkan rempah yang telah dicapur dengan air, masak dengan api sederhana.
3. Bila rempah dah pecah minyak, masukkan daun kari, dikacau dan kemudian masukkan paru. Tambah air jika perlu supaya rempah bersalut dan sebati dengan paru.
4. Masukkan asam gelugur dan biarkan paru masak dengan sempurna. Masukkan garam secukupnya. Siap!
