Learnt something profound (and potentially life-changing) recently.

It’s something that I understood at some level all along but for some reasons, the pin drops and it’s been on my mind all-day.💭

You see.. most of the time, when we set goals, whether it's to officially start your own business, sign your first client, hit a $20k month or maybe even be a more patient parent...
.
We try to change externally - our actions, our habits, mindset, environment, etc. That’s what we’ve been told to do - work from outside in.
.
However, the method is flawed and that’s why most people give up on their new years’ resolution by 5th Jan. There are too many factors/triggers that would derail our external plans.❌
.
What I realised today is that we have to work from inside out. Decide on the person you want to become and start making decisions as that person.
.
You want to be healthy. What would a healthy person’s lifestyle be like? What is their default?
.
You want to be successful. You want to get to the next level - what would “next level YOU” be like, on the inside?
.
When you change the way your think, especially subconsciously, you can change yourself and your reality.
