Charity Hike to SK Longkogungan, Penampang (I occasionally can't tag the location on IG). I brought 2 bags just in case I can't fit the items to bring to the school 🚸. @cabinzero classic bag and @hypergear_official 40L. Am glad I brought 2 coz my friend @pametaj carried more weight 🤭

Thanks Pametaj for the trip. I always wanted to go check out this place. I finally had the chance 🙃 Return trip 17km 😌 (sure or not?) took us almost 13 hours return 😂 our moving time is actually 7 hours ++ We had our setbacks and was enjoying too much of the view lol hihi. Finally made it to Nuluh Lingion 1420m asl, Kota Belud today. What a magical place, it's so beautiful 😍 😍 😍 get to see 30-50 years old coffee tree on site. I wanted to camp at the viewpoint coz it's cooler and nearer to the toilet but didn't bring tent 🏕

Camp site from Guas Nabalu Homestay is a 2++ hours hike. Mt Kinabalu view at the peak ⛰. Toilet, kitchen, drinking water and hot water available. But not advisable to shower coz water is limited (rainwater) 🤭 Dinner is cooked here too 😋

Misty evening and it rained at night. Also advisable to bring sleeping bag, extra powerbank and light coz no charging port. Digi and tunetalk line is 👌🏼 at least 3G.

Part of the activity offered at @guasnabaluhomestay is visiting the coffee farm. It is located around less than 3km single trail from the homestay, will take about 2-3 hours to trek depending on your level of fitness. Weather is also important coz trail will be muddy.

Expect leeches along the trail, hence wear long pants (leech socks is recommended 🤭), Adidas Kampung or trail shoes with traction, it gets slippery during rainy season. It is also recommended to visit the farm when the coffee cherry is red and ripe. Best to visit in the end of the year for that.

There's also a camping ground which we didn't get to go. Also a great place for sunset (didn't get to do coz it rained for 3 days 😂). Tons of sweet and sour fruit called Buah Cinta at the farm too.

Some of the processing is done here i.e. peeling, drying, fermentation of coffee beans before it is brought back to the homestay.

It's so cooling and misty on our way back 😍😍😍 and returning time was shorter. I love it! 🙃
