Continue ReadingMany people must be familiar with the famous " sister o " shop in the social world 5 years ago with the menu of " mama oh ho " heavy pot of the machine sold at 5 Who wants to eat? I have to sit and wait because the queue is so long. Why do I have to be mama. Why do I have to be 5 pm? Why do I have to wait for hours? " Sister Muay Sang Sao " or " Sister Oh " what good That's why people give this shop a lot of heart. Today we will know the answer!
.
" In fact, this shop has been over 60 years. We started from negative because we were born in the ghetto in the ghetto. When I got married, we become in-laws. I couldn't sell with rice easily, but I lived that I only do good things for sale. People start to know more. When the kids grow up, they help each other develop the shop until they move to the current place for about 5 years. When I moved in the first time, there are not many people at 4 pm. The shop is quiet and my kids start I think that if it's quiet this fast, my shop is bad. Let's think of the menu for those who travel or come back late. Sit and eat as mama. Oh, oh "
.
It's " just boiled instant noodles " or " boiled instant noodles " that makes people flow without the way.
.
" Oh, I thought that I was selling for 30 pot per day. But it turns out that when the first day, they told me. There are plenty of people came here. It's not delicious, but I couldn't serve because we never had a customer. So much. I lost my heart with mama. Oh, stop selling. But the customer who likes it. Keep doing it. Don't quit. I think that we have to develop, not to develop, not run away. People comment. In social media, it's just a lot of mama. I can cook at home. But many things that people may not know is that mama's not using mama's machine in the wrap. We seasoned by myself. The machine that we wear it's fresh. We are fresh. The more you eat The frames at the shop, the easier to match. It's not easy. It's not easy. We have thought about this formula "
.
Until I get to this point, I have passed a long time of development. It's been bankruptcy. It's many times to be great
.
" Before getting to this point, we are very difficult. It's not that I sell instant noodles. I have been rich. I have been cooking all the time. No matter how sick I am, I haven't stopped. Sister O's shop. I don't know how many times I have no money left with It's here, but I promise that I will be rich. I keep doing it until today. Not because we are good, but because we are good and we always find a solution for the shop
.
I don't have to explain what we will order today because it's all the menu that many people have to order.
🍜 "Mama oh ho" (300 baht) hot noodles. Good ripe. Dark soup. Grilled chili flavor. But it's soft and smooth with milk flavor. Add the boiled machine to add fragrance. Full pot of pork around the shop. When you drink soup, I don't know how to make an impression, big shrimp, fresh squid, fresh eggs. The better.
.
🐷 "crispy pork" (200 baht) crispy skin as the name of crispy pork. It's inserted in pork. It's soft and melted. Fried meat until crispy. It's enough to eat together. It's the heaven that we can buy. Who likes it. Sweet, add sweet sauce of the shop. Good. Never enough.
🐟 "Salmon salad" (250 baht) fresh salmon texture. Sweet, juicy, fresh, fresh, spicy salad with seafood juice of the shop that tastes cuddle days. Full of sour, sweet, salty. Another menu worthy of money
.
And today I have news that I want to eat instant noodles. No need to wait until 5 pm because I just go to the shop from 16.30 pm. You can order instant noodles at the shop. The shop will adjust the opening time from 16.30 am-21.00 pm. Ready for sitting section. Only 2 per table. There is a hand wash gel for all customers and staff to wear hygienic masks. The queue is not very long. If you want to taste it, you can stop by. The shop is located near Sitson Nourishing I got it too. I can tell you that it's a must eat!

🇻🇳 Food Tripping In HCMC Saigon VIETNAM 🇻🇳
.
Banh Cuon Hai Nam – Vietnamese Rolled Noodles in Saigon.
.
BANH CUON – Northern Vietnamese Noodles Rolls is a very delicious Northern Vietnamese dish you must try when visiting Saigon in Vietnam. 😋😋😋
.
Banh Cuon literally translates to rolled cakes in Vietnamese, is a perfect as a light snack or meal. 👍👍👍
.
Looking very similar to our HK-style Chee Cheong Fun, the preparation was fun to watch. A combination of rice flour & tapioca starch batter is scooped & spread evenly onto a cloth to be steamed forming into a round-shaped thin & silky rice sheet in seconds. 😀😀😀
.
After the thin sheet noodles are steamed, it's then picked swiftly with a bamboo stick to be filled with a mixture of minced pork, shrimp & wood ear mushrooms, wrapped up into rolls and served with a sweet fish sauce dressing.
.
Priced at 42,000 VND, you get two pieces of tasty Banh Cuon, noodle rolls served together with handful portion of shredded lettuce, blanched bean sprouts & a sprinkle of fragrant crispy shallots. 😋😋😋
.
Oh yes, no Banh Cuon wouldn’t be complete without sauce. Taste best when eaten by dipping into Nuoc Cham, the sweet & salty Vietnamese fish sauce. For the extra spicy kick, do add in the freshly crushed chillies to the sauce! 🌶️🌶️🌶️
.
We also ordered sides of Vietnamese ham - Cha Lua, Vietnamese Ham or Pork roll to go with our Banh Cuon. 🥰🥰🥰

For this episode, we headed to TamJai SamGor Mixian to demolish a MASSIVE 6KG Spicy Mala Noodles Bowl! TamJai SamGor serves authentic mixian (rice noodles) and is located at Bedok Mall, Chinatown Point and Vivocity. A chain originating from Hong Kong and even awarded Bib Gourmand in Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau, TamJai SamGor offers customisable mixian and Guo Qiao with 16 toppings in it. You get to choose your soup base - bestsellers being the Ma La Soup and the Wu La (charred pepper) Soup.
For my challenge, I opted for the Wu La Soup with 1/10 Mild and loaded it up with most of their toppings such as pork, chicken, fishballs, pork liver, pork belly, tofu puffs, beancurd skin, beef, lettuce and beansprouts. The base was a hefty 5 servings of rice noodles and the entire bowl was filled with Wu La Soup. Note that there are 10 levels of spiciness you can choose for your soup.
The broth was reminiscent of a Bak Kut Teh broth crossed with a Thai Boat Noodles broth. It was rich and peppery. The noodles were exceptional, firm, bouncy and still giving bite even after sitting in the broth for a long time. They soaked up the broth wonderfully. For the toppings, I especially enjoyed the pork belly, which were filled with flavour from the fattiness and had some chewiness to them, and the cuttlefish balls, which were firm and bouncy with a good amount of meat in them. Apart from the toppings shared in the video, I have also shortlisted pig stomach, bamboo fungus and tail-on shrimp as my pick to be sold in TamJai SamGor.
It started raining just as filming began, which made me realise that Guo Qiao is perfect for a such a day, warm and comforting while its cold and rainy outside. Each Guo Qiao also comes with minced pork and pickled vegetables. Note that the pork is on the sweet side which actually works well to cool the heat from the soup.
I completed this challenge in 28 minutes, a good start after my food poisoning incident. It was an enjoyable challenge, basically a hearty, warming bowl of soup that reminds you of home. TamJai SamGor also offers sides dishes and I tried their TuFei Chicken Mid-Wings, which were tender and heavily spiced with a cumin mixture. Do head down to TamJai SamGor to enjoy a wholesome bowl of noodle soup, especially on a rainy day!

For this episode, we headed back to No Signboard Seafood, this time at the Esplanade, to demolish a $1000 Seafood Mee Goreng Challenge! As a belated birthday treat, Sean has again offered to pay for my meal at No Signboard Seafood, this time only allowing Mee Goreng. Naturally, we loaded up the Mee Goreng with the most delectable toppings that No Signboard Seafood has to offer to push the cost to over $1000, making it possibly the most expensive plate of Mee Goreng ever!
No Signboard Seafood specialises in Chinese cuisine, with a focus on seafood, especially the world-famous Chilli Crab. This particular outlet at Esplanade is unique in that it has some Western cuisine available like Boston Lobster Scrambled Eggs with Caviar and pasta dishes. We had to go with Mee Goreng, which is a Malay-style fried noodle dish with a flexible bunch of proteins and vegetables added, tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce.
For my challenge, I ordered 10 servings of Mee Goreng, 3 Whole Boston Lobsters, a bunch of Scallops, 2 Wagyu Steaks and a large ball of Caviar. The staff masterfully plated this feast onto my giant plate, forming a beautiful array. The mee goreng was sweeter and less spicy than most mee gorengs you would find in Singapore, loaded with tofu and shrimp. It was delicious enough to eat on its own and had a deep wok hei aroma to it. The lobsters were plump and juicy, with the tail meat coming off the shell with almost no resistance. They were expectedly sweet and tender, being freshly cooked from the live lobster tanks on-site.
The scallops were stir-fried in XO sauce, pairing the naturally sweet scallops with the strong umami flavour of the sauce, while the steaks were cooked to medium-rare perfection and rich with a deep “beefy” flavour. Finally, the caviar was a surprising addition to mee goreng, usually eaten on its own or on toast with its rich salty flavour. However, it went exceedingly well with the mee goreng as each sweet and savoury bite of the mee goreng was met with pops of salty explosions, complementing one another rather spectacularly.
This meal was so good that I could hardly call it a challenge and I thankfully enjoyed my birthday dinner. No Signboard Seafood also offers a host of other Chinese-Singaporean cuisine, including crabs cooked in a multitude of ways and many fish options. Do check out No Signboard Seafood for their excellent take on Mee Goreng and their classic dishes!
