I had a student ask me last week how she could improve her #splits
There’s really no short cut. If you want something bad enough it takes time and practice to achieve it. I remember being in my early teens, waking up earlier than most kids just to stretch before going to school. I would use a cushion under my front foot and stretch 2 min on each side. Then I’d turn around and put the cushion under my back knee for another 2 min on each side. And then I did the same for side splits. This is how my legs got their flexibility. I admit that my #sidesplits have always been naturally flexible. But, everything else I had to work hard to get.
