Chrysanthemum 5 Snakes soup 🐍 蛇王二 菊花會五蛇羹. The shop is closing after 24th April 2020, and to me personally their snake soup is the best in Hong Kong <- this point is subjective & arguable, but I have been eating here nearly 40 years and I have not had a better snake soup, no matter the fame. The Snake, Chicken & Soup thickness & taste, texture are spot on. The Medicinal taste background is always apparent but not overwhelming, the Crisps have proper Red Fermented Tofu taste, the Chrysanthemum flowers & julienned Kaffir Lime Leaves 🌼🍋 are always near perfect. Hubby loved their roast chicken for its tender & juicy chicken that goes so well with the fragrant & flavourful chicken rice. For me, it was the Gado-Gado, perfect lunch for light & healthy meal that's loaded with vegetables such as Ipoh Bean Sprouts together with Braised Tofu & Braised Egg. 😍
