• VEGETABLES – Beets, cucumbers, summer squash, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, celery, ginger, corn, avocado, scallions, spinach, arugula, basil, watercress, lettuce.
• FRUITS – Mango, watermelon, peaches, cherries, strawberries, apples, papaya, cantaloupe
• CREAMINESS – Yoghurt, silken tofu, milk or almond / cashew nuts.
• ZEST – Add fresh citrus juice (lemon or lime) or a dash of vinegar for a better, more complex flavour.
• RICHNESS – Add a drizzle of olive oil or avocado oil. Avoid coconut oil, which will harden if cold.

Iverson's 29 help send Spurs to first loss in 11 games
These Denver Nuggets are starting to show they could much more than the first-round fodder they always are in the playoffs.
Now, if they can just make it that far.
Allen Iverson scored 29 points despite spraining his right ring finger in the first half and the Nuggets ended San Antonio's 11-game winning streak, 109-96, on Friday night.
"It's just because our backs are against the wall," Iverson said after Denver's second big win over a nemesis [Phoenix] in 48 hours. "We understand that every night we have to come in here and play hard and play together and not take any possessions off. We know how serious it is in the West, and if we don't get our act together it's going to be a chance we're not going to be in the playoffs.
"And with our roster ... there's no way we shouldn't be in the playoffs."
Can you imagine? With two All-Star starters in Iverson and Carmelo Anthony and the reigning defensive player of the year in Marcus Camby?
The Nuggets sure can't fathom it.
They're off to their best start in 20 years, but even at 37-24, they're on the fringe of the wild Western Conference playoff picture, remaining one game behind Golden State for the eighth spot heading into the final six weeks.
X-rays were negative on Iverson's finger. He was injured when Tony Parker jammed the ball back into his right hand in the first half. Iverson said it was sore and he knew it would bother him Saturday night but doubted it would keep him out of the Nuggets' game against Northwest Division-leading Utah.
Anthony also is listed as probable against the Jazz after bruising his left knee.
He overcame a bad first half (1-for-7 from the floor) to finish with 25 points as the Nuggets won for the 13th time in their last 15 games at the Pepsi Center, which was rocking like it hadn't since Denver faced San Antonio in the playoffs last season.
In overcoming an eight-point halftime deficit with a dominating second half, the Nuggets swept the Spurs at home for the first time since 1988-89. Last month, they beat the Spurs 80-77. This one was more of Denver's preferred style, with lots of running and gunning -- and everybody got into the act.
Eduardo Najera tied his career high with 19 points and fellow reserve J.R. Smith added 15 to spark Denver's second-half surge. Smith's 3-pointer from the top of the key after Najera tipped a rebound to him made it 96-81 with 6 minutes left.
"That might be the best game I've seen Eddie play," said Nuggets coach George Karl, who had plenty of things to smile and brag about on this night.
"The third quarter, the defense was great and never really slacked off," Karl said. "Maybe a couple of times in the fourth quarter when we had a lead and let them have some easy baskets, but a hell of a win."
Manu Ginobili scored 24 points and Tim Duncan added 23 for the Spurs, who fell to 9-4 in the second game of back-to-backs despite arriving in the Mile High City well-rested.
None of them played more than 28 minutes in coasting to a win over Indiana in San Antonio on Thursday night, and coach Gregg Popovich also had a chance to rest his vocal cords -- he was ejected in the second quarter for arguing a no-call against Pacers forward Mike Dunleavy.
San Antonio fell a half game behind the Lakers for the top spot in the West.
"We're not at the same level we were at last year at this time, even though we seem to be situated relatively well in the West," Popovich said. "This team isn't as good as last year's team. We have significant improvement that we have to make both mentally and physically if we're going to be able to contend for the championship."
Game notes
G Chucky Atkins returned to action for Denver after missing 26 games following sports hernia surgery. He didn't score any points in 7 1/2 minutes, missing his only field goal attempt. ... F Nene, who is recovering from testicular cancer and recently underwent chemotherapy, was on the bench in a suit for the first time since undergoing surgery on Jan. 14.

Anthony Carter explained his philosophy on scoring as he slipped on his canary yellow sweater vest.
"Points don't mean nothin' to me," the Nuggets guard said. "But I just love getting assists."
Carter did a little scoring and dishing as he helped Denver to a 113-103 win over the Orlando Magic on Friday night. He had 11 assists and tied a career high with 21 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter.
The fact that his previous best game also came against the Magic back in 1999 was merely a coincidence. Carter doesn't get particularly fired up to play Orlando.
"It wasn't about Orlando, just about winning," he said.
After the game, Carter's thoughts turned toward teammate Nene. Earlier in the day, Nene took an indefinite leave of absence from the team to take care of a personal medical issue. The team wouldn't comment further on what was wrong with Nene, who missed 22 games earlier this season after surgery on his left thumb.
Carter said he couldn't talk about what was wrong, but planned on calling him later.
"I'm very concerned," he said.
So was Allen Iverson.
"He's family," said Iverson, who had 21 points and 13 assists. "Life is way more important than the game of basketball. We just want him to get his situation straightened and get back to the team as soon as possible. He needs to take care of himself first."
Carmelo Anthony finished with 32 points and reserve forward Linas Kleiza scored 18 points on 7-for-13 shooting, helping Denver beat the Magic for the fifth straight time at home.
However, the Nuggets still have one of their worst all-time winning percentages against Orlando with a 13-25 lifetime mark.
"Overall, we did a great job tonight with sticking in our scheme and doing what we had to do," said Anthony, who also had 11 rebounds for his ninth double-double of the season.
Dwight Howard finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds, his NBA-leading 33rd double-double of the season. Howard was also whistled for two goaltending calls in the fourth quarter and accidentally knocked in a basket for the Nuggets in the first half.
"It was a tough game," Howard said.
In more ways than one. Magic coach Stan Van Gundy thought Howard was being abused down low.
"They were allowed to do a lot of pushing and shoving on him," he said. "When you're Dwight Howard they give the other people ..."
Van Gundy didn't finish his sentence, just left his thought hanging in the air.
"I got a little frustrated toward the end," Van Gundy said.
Orlando entered the game as one of the best road teams in the league, but has now dropped two of its last three away games. The Magic play at Utah on Saturday night, their final stop on a four-game road trip.
Rashard Lewis scored 21 and Maurice Evans added a season-high 15 for the Magic.
"For 3 1/2 quarters, we were in a [heck] of a game and then they made more plays than we did," Van Gundy said.
And Carter led the charge. With just over 5 minutes remaining and the game tied at 98, the Nuggets scored seven straight points to seal the win. Carter had a 3-pointer, steal and an assist during the pivotal run.
"A.C. came up big, but he's been making big plays for us all year," said Iverson, who had five rebounds to give him 3,000 for his career. "It's something we expect. We pretty much expect everyone to make plays. On different nights, it's different guys. Tonight, it was A.C. He did a great job. He got us over the hump."
Game notes
Denver activated F Steven Hunter on Friday, but he didn't get into the game. He's been out since having arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Nov. 16. ... Nuggets guard Chucky Atkins underwent successful surgery Friday to repair his strained right groin. He's expected to be out for at least eight weeks. ... Despite the loss, the Magic still have the most road wins in the NBA this season with 16. ... Denver had 32 assists on Friday night. The team is 9-0 this season when it has 30 or more assists.
