Because we are heading out, I prepped 2 cheat meals for the boys and for variety, i made a simple Dan Dan minced meat noodles with @pami_singapore Hu Sesame #tsengnoodles.

RECIPE :
Blanch xiao bai cai (I added corn too coz the boys love it) and set aside. Cook @pami_singapore noodles. I used half the Hu Sesame seasoning for the kids, topped with abit of sesame oil. Remove noodles from water. Cook cold egg for 6 minutes in boiling water. Remove immediately and place in ice water bath. Marinate peeled egg in soya sauce water (50/50). Cut before serving.
Minced meat (around 100g) marinated with 2-3 teaspoon of soya sauce, and sesame oil. Add some cornflour and mix well. Sprinkle @liloikanbilis mushroom powder abundantly, it adds natural flavoring to the meat since I dun add salt or pepper for kids. Heat pan with oil, stir fry sliced small onions til fragrant. Add meat and cook well. Can choose to add @liloikanbilis scallop powder for added umami. Place minced meat over noodles with vegetables at the side. (PS it will taste great with a splash of vinegar too!)✨

The second dished I cooked steamed rice and air fry @cpfoodssg teriyaki chicken pack. The glaze looks appetizing! 🐣

Resepi Murtabak Maggi Ayam
Bahan-bahan
2 bahagian dada ayam (dipotong dadu)
4 peket mi segera Maggi (direbus)
3 sb serbuk kari ayam
1/2 sk garam
1/2 sk lada hitam
2 btg cili besar (dipotong)
1 biji bawang merah (dipotong dadu)
daun bawang (dicincang)
3 biji telur
3 sb minyak masak
*Kalau nak guna mi segera jenama lain pun boleh, yang penting perisa kari.
Cara memasak
1. Rebus mi segera dalam air yang mendidih sehingga lembut. Setelah itu, angkat dan toskan air.
2. Tumis daging ayam yang dipotong dadu bersama sedikit minyak sehingga masak. Ketepikan.
3. Pecahkan telur dan pukul seketika sehingga sebati. Perasakan dengan sedikit garam serta lada hitam. Pukul lagi sehingga sebati.
4. Masukkan serbuk kari ayam, bawang merah, cili merah, daun bawang, campurkan telur dan tumisan daging ayam bersama mi segera yang telah direbus.
5. Gaul sebati sehingga bahan-bahan dicampur rata.
6. Panaskan minyak dan masukkan campuran mi segera ke dalam kuali.
7. Masak menggunakan api sederhana sehingga bertukar keperangan pada kedua-dua bahagian.
8. Potong Murtabak Maggi Ayam dan lengkapkannya bersama sos cili.

Chicken Murtabak Maggi Recipe, Simple but Surely Tasty!
You must be bored of eating instant noodles in soup or fried, right? Why don't you try to make this like murtabak. Easy to make and the ingredients definitely there in your fridge. Dip with chilli sauce or mayonnaise, absolutely delicious!
Chicken Murtabak Maggi Recipe
Ingredients
2 part of chicken breast (diced)
4 pieces of Maggi instant noodles (boiled)
3 tbsp of chicken curry powder
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of black pepper
2 red chilies (cut)
1 whole onion (diced)
scallions (chopped)
3 eggs
3 tbsp of cooking oil
*Any brands of curry flavor instant noodles can be used
Cooking methods
1. Cook the instant noodles in boiling water until they soften. Then, remove and strain the water.
2. Sauté diced chicken breast with a little bit of cooking oil until cooked. Set it aside.
3. Crack and beat the eggs. Seasons with some salt and black pepper. Mix again until even.
4. Add chicken curry powder, onion, red chilies, scallions , combine eggs and sautéed chicken breast together with the cooked instant noodles.
5. Mix until everything is well combined.
6. In a pan, heat some cooking oil and pour the instant noodles mixture.
7. Fry on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
8. Cut the Chicken Murtabak Maggi and serve with chili sauce.

Resepi mee sup dengan sambal kicap
Bahan-bahan mee sup:
Mee kuning 250gram
½ bawang besar (dihiris)
3 biji bawang putih (dihiris)
Isi ayam (dihiris)
½ batang lobak merah (dihiris memanjang)
1 batang kek ikan (dipotong sederhana besar)
½ sudu kecil perasa ayam
½ sudu garam
Lada sulah
1 biji telur
Lada merah (untuk hiasan)
Daun sup (untuk hiasan)
Bawang goreng (pilihan)
Minyak masak
Air
Bahan-bahan sambal kicap pedas:
5 cili padi merah/hijau
1 bawang putih
Garam
Gula
Kicap
Cara penyediaan:
1. Tumis bawang besar dan bawang putih sehingga naik bau. Masukkan hirisan isi ayam, kek ikan dan lobak merah. Setelah isi ayam dan kek ikan agak masak, masukkan air sehingga penuh separuh kuali (bergantung pada kuantiti mee kuning).
2. Setelah menggelegak, masukkan mee kuning. Masukkan telur. Perasakan dengan perasa ayam, garam dan lada sulah. Letakkan hirisan lada merah untuk menaikkan warna masakan.
3. Untuk sambal kicap, tumis cili padi dan bawang putih selama dua minit. Letakkan ke dalam lesung batu. Tambahkan garam dan gula. Tumbuk dan kemudian tambah kicap.
4. Siap untuk dihidangkan. Taburkan bawang goreng dan daun sup. Sedap dimakan bersama sambal kicap ketika panas..

Yellow noodle soup with spicy soy sauce recipe
Ingredients for yellow noodle soup:
Yellow noodles 250gram
½ onion (sliced)
3 garlic (sliced)
Chicken breast (sliced)
½ carrot (sliced)
1 fish cake(sliced in medium size)
½ tsp chicken seasoning
½ tsp salt
White pepper
1 egg
Red chilli (for garnish)
Soup leaves/parsley (for garnish)
Ready-made fried onion (optional)
Cooking oil
Water
Ingredients for spicy soy sauce:
5 bird’s eyes chillies (red/green)
1 garlic
Salt
Sugar
Soy sauce
Preparations:
1. Stir fry onion and garlic until the colour turn golden. Add sliced chicken breast, fish cake and carrot. After chicken breast and fish cake half-cooked, fill in water until half-full wok.
2. When the broth is boiling, add in yellow noodle and egg. Season with chicken seasoning, salt and white pepper. Add sliced red chillies to make the broth looked colourful.
3. For spicy soy sauce, stir-fry the bird’s eye chillies and garlic for around two minutes. Add the chillies, garlic, salt and sugar into a stone mortar. Pestle and finally add some soy sauce.
4. Ready to serve. Garnish with soup leaves and fried onion. Great to eat while hot with spicy soy sauce.
