🚨 VHC Sesame Balls Recipe 🚨

Fillings:
- 1 1/2 cups peeled mung beans
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
Steps:
1. Rinse mung beans until water runs clear
2. Add mung beans and water in a pot and cook on medium heat (stir often)
3. When the mung beans are soft, add sugar, oil and vanilla extract (mix well)
4. Turn off heat when sugar is completely dissolved
5. Let it cool and use blender and blend for a smooth paste

Dough:
- 4 tbsp potatoes flakes
- 5 tbsp hot water
- 1 3/4 cups warm water
- 1 cup sugar
- 16 oz glutinous rice flour
- 1/3 cup of rice flour
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 3 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- Hulled sesame seeds
- Vegetable oil for frying
Steps:
1. Mix hot water with potatoes flakes - set aside
2. Dissolve sugar in warm water
3. Add flours, corn starch, baking powder and salt - mix well
4. Combine dry ingredients with sugar water
5. Mix in potatoes mixture
6. Knead until everything is combined
7. Let the dough rest for 1 hour
8. Make small balls with the filling - cover with a plastic wrap
9. Make a ball with the dough, roll it out in your hand and add the filling
10. Pour sesame seeds in a bowl and roll the ball around until it is covered
11. Place sesame ball on a plate with a plastic cover
12. Repeat until all dough is gone
13. Fry the balls on medium high heat (stir them for even cooking)
14. Place fried balls in a bowl with paper towel to drain oil
